I got the Colossus because it's symmetrical and I can carry either way without there being a difference.
Yeah I miss out on the bottle holder, but I use mine for more urban (man purse to work) use than hiking.
I've had it a year and love it.
I wish I loved my colossus. after I got mine i sold my jumbo. I wish I had it back. I miss the water bottle holder, but also i don't think it's that much bigger that the jumbo. The advantage the jumbo has (IMHO) is the foldover top. if you need to expand it up or let something poke out you can. with the colossus it either fits, or it doesn't.
