There are other good cheap machetes out there but there are also other good 4", 5", etc. knives out there but we still buy SY. Granted, I doubt SY will make and sell a machete for $5.99 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> But if they could make one comparable in price to a Condor, wouldn't you buy one? I would. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I can look at every knife SY makes and I could find something cheaper that might serve my purpose but we all know that none of them are as good as the SY's. And, as far as being a specialized tool...what about swords? Not really your everyday carry. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
