If you look at the Tanker A and the price increase that this knife had due to being a popular size and pleasant design... the BOSS STREET could increase a lot in value... but if the other variants were released as seen at the shows...the double cut version and the satin version... then allowing for the black on black combat grade as well... these knives might actually serve to reduce the value of the Tanker A and potentially similar designs like the SHSJ with a longer blade...
I saw a Tanker A LE come on the exchange very quickly after the show where they were released and the price was very high...about $900... I doubt many felt like spending that if the BOSS STREET was available for a third of the cost.
Personally I like the S5LE as a small working knife in Infi...if I got a satin BOSS STREET I might invest in the kit needed to remove the handles and taper the spine and then make my own replacement grips...that would serve to make the knife a little more neutral balanced which for me is a preference. Small knives which are too handle heavy feel like they want to slide out of the back of your hand when held vertical for work like skinning deer which are suspended on meat hooks... as an example the BATAC LE I had was very much like this...the BOSS STREET will be less so but will still feel a little similar...it would be a much less important aspect if the knife were thinner as the weight would reduce... a .170 BOSS STREET and you could go with a straight tang no problem. At .220 I would prefer a tapered tang...I got rid of a SAR4 LE because of the handle heavy aspect and it was .220...it was better than the BATAC LE at .25 but not by a lot.
