it's on my long list of "Stuff to Buy"!

so far i've heard only good things about the XD45.. very reliable by all accounts, seems VERY well conceived.. w/ tactile indicators for chamber loaded AND cocked!

i've carried 1911 gov't models for years.. and well.. they're Heavy! cheap ones often balk at anything but ball ammo.. and need Lots of tweaking, gunsmithing..
methinks the XD45 could be the "perfect" out-of-the-box .45 EDC !

then again.. i've said that about MANY other guns! ..too many..
