I actually plan to carry mine with me in the dog park fairly regularly, 12 acres, surrounded by 100 or so acres of woods. It is not convenient to carry a Scythe with me all the time and the blackberry and poison ivy will grow up ones legs if one holds still for long...The coyotes are getting bold and showing up in broad daylight too, killed a neighbor's dog and went after another neighbor's dog when they were walking in the woods. It makes people a little nervous if I carry a shotgun or rifle...

I'm not sure how to carry something that long though. It might be more practical to have it on the back instead of the waist. Has anyone played around with how to carry one of these?
