Mick - I made my leather sheath with a stud sticking out the front, much like old-timers wore their bowies/large knives tucked in their belts or sashes. I then made a "frog" for the sheath to ride in, with a small notch for the stud to catch on. The "frog" has a belt loop, obviously for my belt. I also made a baldric to carry my Waki and Scizzy, basically a "frog" with a strap that goes over my shoulder.
