I have my BOB set up with with a Gerber LMF2 and a larger Ka-bar but I have never been truly happy with the set up. I am looking at a Esee Junglas to replace my 12inch ka-bar. Its not the SYDF but it might be my only option. I had a gerber camp axe and a gerber machete but they both can only be used for there designed task and have to much weight. If I had to chose just one knife I would chose a large blade. I can always choke up and use the tip. I have heard about a place to sell and swap busse and scrapyard knives but haven't found it could and body post a link?
