I agree. A big knife or machete can do a lot more work with less effort than any smaller "survival knife". I collect survival knives from many manufacturers. Most are smaller 4" to 5" knives. They are basically hunting knives. A Swiss Army knife and a big chopper is the way to go, IMO. And in big knives, the DFLE, M9, and BWM are favorites. ESEE's Junglas is another good one.
