Just received my new firesteel yesterday from Dog Tired. Simple, no frills this time,for inclusion in a pocket kit. It measures just a tad over 3 1/4 inches by my cheapo Dare ruler. The rod has a 38spl case for a handle and It does like a fire steel should! Thanks DT!
