Being a parent definitely is a pain sometimes. My wife likes me to be the authoritative one and discipline our child every time.....so the kid naturally listens to me more and disobeys her more....which in turn make the wife more agitated and request I intervene and "make" our kid listen to her.......what kid of sense does this make?!
I feel as if I could have written that. I spend so much time explaining respect to my kids and then my wife tells me to mellow out when I want to become the enforcer. Go figure.
