Getting back to the topic. I think the real decision has to include the like or dislike of large choils. I am sitting here checking out my SC6LE, SJTAK, SFNO, CHOPWEILLER, RD7, and my new Bravo-2. The cutting edge on the Bravo-2 (no choil) is the same as the RD7 and about a half inch longer than the chopweiler (and much sharper). It is not sharper than my new SJTAK or SFNO from Blade WEST. They are the two sharpest BUSSE knives I own, with the RMD close.
I do not think of the Bravo-2 as a chopper. Sitting next to the above group are my RAT Mastif, CGDF, RD9, and BRKT Golok (choppers). However, if I want to chop something I use my Fiskars Hatchet (or GB Wildlife). However, I chop very little any more. I do baton a lot and all of these knives do that fairly well.

Bottom line. For me the only decision to make is TAN SOD or SOD LE?
