So is there a Scrap Yard knife that would interest you, out5yder? You've pretty much ruled out every knife the company manufactures in SR-77. And heaven only knows when Dan will get around to manufacturing a knife in something other than SR-77 again. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I didn't mean Scrap Yard should make knives from something else.
I'm not a collector, so I buy only what I use. I use basically only one knife. And my goal is to have a knife which is the best possible in all-around performance. At this moment that knife is for me the Skinny ASH-1. I will only buy another knife when I will find another knife better than it in all-around performance. Of course, this "all-around performance" is very subjective and it's correlated with what each individual expects from a knife. Regarding ScrapYard knives I must say the designs of most of them are very close to my needs, closer than Busses. When I saw the design of the SOD I was amazed, because it seems better than all the others. But I can't replace my Skinny ASH with a SOD and there is only room for one knife in my hand. If I would buy it, it will end in my house on a wall and not be used.

I have nothing against SR-77, but there is something that is better for what I need (all-around performance). That is what I wanted to say: that it is not the closest to my needs. Sorry if it seemed bad mouthing. It's not that.

And now, to be on topic,
I think the questions of type "what would you choose between that and that?" are very important to find out what kind of features are more appreciated by different categories of users. The rating is not important for that "what would you choose?", but the arguments. I said my arguments between SOD and Bravo2, if I needed to choose between those two.

Best Regards!
