Hey P.O.P. sorry this tooks so long, I had it all typed out and I hit the wrong keys or something, and it was gone. but I press forward in my adversity.

I got my Leatherman Super tool for Christmas '96 or '97 and really love it, came wicked sharp too. I just took it camping for several years, then when I left home to go on a mission for my church and later left for school I took my leatherman as my only "tool set", and it always worked getting the job done.

I have caried it daily for the lase 5 months of so everyday and it is handy at work and my "other work" my work is for the university's grounds department I use my leatherman all three time cutting, prying, sawing, fileing, tightening, fixing, etc. my "other job" is that my wife and I manage a girls apartment complex an older one that always needs some fixing from pulling hair out of cloged vacuums to replacing door knobs, all with my trusty leatherman.

Mine, as I said is the Supertool, it is no longer made, it's replacement in FULL-SIZE tools, the Supertool 200 has also been discontinued. The new FULL-SIZE tool, the Core, looks good but over on Bladeforums they didn't like it, at all, it has plastic where the plier's head and handels connect <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbdn.gif" alt="" />. but the Mid-size Wave is a winner in just about everybody's book, and for a couple bucks more you can get the the Charge with titanium or aluminum handels. I would be thrilled to answer any questions you have P.O.P., or anyone in the yard.

Oh yah It's made in the U.S. of A. (Portland Oregon to be exact)
