Hi I've been carrying a leatherman surge for about 4 months know and I love it.I used to have a Gerber tool but then a friend of mine bought a leatherman core and I was so surprised at the better lockup of the tools and the quality of the pliers i had to get a leatherman something. The Surge is like the wave but larger and it has a saw blade exchanger that you can use any t shank type saw blade which i thinks pretty neat, ,and its got some pretty good scissors.

I like the Surge looks and price,the Wave on E-Bay seems to average sell for around $70.00 or more.I don't know why?
I guess the ONLY choice to make is the Leatherman in any form!
I will do some lurking of my own on E-Bay and snap one up at first chance.
I was working today when I had to re-do a plug for our commercial vacuum on the job. If I didn't strap on my cheapo multi tool this morning I could NOT have finished the job with that unit. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />
