the core is a solid tool. fhe plastic washers have metal screws in them
I have not had a chance to handel one in person, just seen it through the packaging at the store and read a few reviews on Bladeforums, some liked it though. It dose have the leatherman name on it, it can't be that bad.
P.O.P. I also have had the Leatherman Micra on my keys Every Single Day (execpt when traviling by airplane of course) for the last 9-10 years. It has been some of the best $15 I think I have ever spent.
