hmmm. hadn't heard about the carbide blade. will have to check that out.
You can't get them from Leatherman, for the Surge, that I know of, but since it's the standard T-shank jigsaw blades you can find them at Lowes, Home Depot, Ace, True Value, heck I even found some at Harbor Frieght yesterday.
