I hope 1" x 42" belts will still be around. I just recently got my Delta. Practicing on machetes with the 1x30 was how I learned to grind. I finished up a machete for a dog today. He wanted the swedge sharpened. It finally stopped raining about an hour ago, so I worked on the swedge in the remaining light of the day. Here it is unsharpened.
