Or perhaps even better, buyers educate yourselves! You too can buy directly from the manufacturers if you take the time to learn how.

Well, kind of. If you are new to the Busse kin knives, and you see all of these great looking blades, naturally you are going to want one. While you can learn how to buy the next release by quiting your job and sitting in front of your computer 24/7 waiting and waiting for them to pop up in the company store for who knows how long. The only way you can buy most of the earlier models is on the secondary market. The secondary market is a necessary evil when it comes to Busse kin knives if you want access to each and every blade. About the best thing you can do is be patient and just watch them all. Every chance you get check the "for sale" sections on the various forums. Heck, I sometimes check them at 2 or 3am in the morning when I get up to get a drink or whatever. Ever so often deals do pop up, but you have to be ready to pounce!
The advantage we have in The Yard is that Dan gives us a 48-hour notice before he sells Scrap Yard knives and he always sells them in the evenings or on weekends. That way, most people who want them have a chance to get them. Those who can't be at the right place at the right time normally arrange in advance to have proxies purchase on their behalf.

and we dont have to deal with the questionable email at or after the set "time", im sure there are some people who get whatever they want despite what the time stamp says

also with Scrapyard and the store you know right there instantly if you got a knife
