I guess the question is, what's the difference between a "scalper" and a successful business person? Is there something wrong with buying a product and reselling it at a "very healthy profit" if the market supports that? I thought that's what capitalism is all about? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
To me, the word "scalper" has an extremely negative connotation. I reserve it for those who profit at the expense of human misery. It's hard for me to apply that definition to people who make money reselling Busse family knives.
Let’s not get too overheated. I made that entry because I’m a sucker for a pun.
Is a scalper selling tickets to a rock concert trading in human misery, or human desire for entertainment?
