Welcome to the yard Momaw.....your perspective is interesting as a newcomer....some of what happened with you happened with me.....I heard about the Busse knives....read/viewed the Noss tests....Google searched and then had to figure out how a Steel Heart seemed to be the only offering? I wanted a FFBM...then found the Company Store and would be the proud owner of a Limited Edition FBM plus Kydex but the purchase software would not allow the deal to go through. E-mailed them and got some help cancelling re-peated attempts with different cards...LOL....I nearly bought 4 of them! All the transactions were showing allocated funds over here so the fault was at the US end but I was then worried as to how much I could have spent!

Amy was a real star! She sent me the cancellation codes which I passed on to the various card customer services and all was well. She suggested I try Paypal and I did register but the "black art" of getting the damned thing to work lost me and by then the last of those LE's was gone. I ended up getting a cheaper FFBM in perfect condition from a real nice guy on the forum and not at crazy money.....so it has it's good side and you meet some good people.

I eventually sorted out my Paypal and used it to get a Ash-1 which has more hours invested in it than any of my other knives....just trying to turn it into a LE spec. It is one of those things....I have started so I will finish......tasks. It is coming along fine....got some great tips from Horn Dog on here and the scotch brite is doing the bits I could'nt figure how to do.
