I use some oil and maybe some Scotchbright on the tougher spots and then after I get the rust under control and wipe off the oil, I give my blades a good wiping down with Tuf-Cloth. I also sometimes use the silicon abrasive erasers, but you have to be really careful on folders that you don't get grit down in the pivit.
