SF, I'm glad that my kydex accessories could help in making the SAR4 outfit work well. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Congats on your SAR4, SF. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

I took mine out yesterday to try it out a little, and the more I use it the more I like it.

The RC-6... which is nice and quite a bit cheaper, but the SAR4 out chopped it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

The SAR4 came with a great edge and makes nice curls easily. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

That is pretty impressive for an alleged 4" knife, Jeff. Out chopped the RC-6 and even came nice and sharp. Looks like Jerry did a good job on the SAR4. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Vic, I must admit that if the RC-6 had a better edge on it from the factory, that it might change the outcome some, but for now I need to leave the stock edge on mine, or I'd convex it and see what the new results would be. The SAR4 on the other hand came with a very nice convex edge that works very well right out of the packing.

When I initially plumbed for a SAR 4 I thought that a satin finished Infi knife which was nearly 5 inches long would be a great back up or second string knife to a FSH/NMSFNO chopper....infact I now consider the knife to be at the bottom rung of "chopper territory"....a knife which can hold it's own as a single knife choice....without being a burden to carry....and I must admit to being very impressed with this knife.

More pic's are needed but this knife does do very well as a single knife choice! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I whole heartedly agree! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
