PS: When it comes to the S5, color me lemming!

.... don't get me wrong Bruce. Square choil and larger than I prefer guard or not, I will likely be looking for a way to find money to buy an S5.

I am still confident the S5 is a GREAT design that has a LOT going for it .... even if it has a flaw or two.

HOWEVER, I am confident, if I get the S5 with a square choil and over-sized guard, I will be wishing it were a rounded choil with a smaller guard.

Further, I am Confident that I might look to buy more than one if the choil/guard were improved. (*** Price dependant of course. )

IMO, on this knife, the choil/guard design is a VERY relevant factor/feature.

Also, based on the resounding preferences stated by many Dogs, I am VERY confident that if the choil/guard improvements are made, in spite of "Brand specific styling - whatever...", that the S5 WOULD/WILL sell better if the improvements are made.

And I am CERTAIN, while I contend there is no ONE perfect knife and many people will always prefer different things and variety will always keep us looking for the next thing, that making those choil improvements to the S5 would make the S5 pretty DARN hard to find fault in and ARGUABLY a PERFECT classic Busse and kin knife for the record books!
