You know, looking at these 2 sketches I don’t think it’s going to make a difference one way or the other. I think both look great and as one wearing a small knife (2” blade) for fine work anyway I don’t much care about the larger choil. This is not a woodcraft blade no matter what you change. To me It’s a great utility blade for camp chores and the like. I downsized SOD, if you like. Just prettier <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
I think Dan did a great job on the design and the blade shape is particularly nice. The best looking SY knife up to date in my opinion.
