Clint broke the tip of his M9
The tip of the M9 is VERY thin so I don't think you can fault the steel. I have seen a similar tip on an Infi Busse GW (that was the same thickness as the M9 tip) break off in the same way.
The M9 doesn't have the profile for prying and the front 1/4" is actually about the same thickness as the tip on the Vex. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />
