Scrapyard falcata. Both Busse Combat and Swamp Rat have short swords, but they're eastern inspired. The falcata is a celt-iberian weapon, and out chops eastern swords by an enormous amount. It's almost more of a sword/axe hybrid. In form, the falcata typically has a wrap-around handle for a secure grip (you could leave the wrap-around part bare metal to make handle manufacture easier), a slender concavely curved base, leaning forward and widening to a convexly curved upper half, with the spine a single arc from guard to point. I prefer the older types of falcata, which are slender and with less pronounced curves, not modern ones which take a lot from the kukri with its sharply crooked angle. For the Yard it would be acceptable to simplify the design a little, like stick with one grind all the way down the edge instead of hollowing the base and convexing the point.

It's big, it's beautiful, it chops like like a chainsaw, and there's nobody else that makes one to the same functional standard as SYKCO represents.
