OK here goes, My first post. I discover the "Yard" and their product / bussekin after a video review on knife test .com and instantly knew I had to have one. So without further doubt I pursued a Yard Hook for my first purchase and it on the way! Whooo Hooo!
As for the subject at had. I know everyone is racking their brains(as the 16+ pages of post show) to come up with the next Scrap design. If for no other reason than to say " yep, I came up with that, its mine!" so I ask how many would agree that there is a former production SY/Busse/Rat that you don't have that you want? I know after trying to find the Hook and my relentless sale forum searching I would be 1st in line to buy a new production s5 or maybe even ss4. So I propose this.
1 A limited production run of 1-3 existing designs in a package format with sheaths.
2 May be even an additional collectors run with a COA, possible matching color scheme change and perhaps numbered but geared more towards a collector. Something where someone could purchase a single numbered knife and or a 3 knife set. Perhaps Matching number set as an option. Something that allows us to take the safe queens out and use them the way we want to and lets us keep a "collector" style in collector condition.
3 Or even a survival set where you package a large chopper like the DF with the YK, and may be a folder like someone else mentioned in a triple sheath with a harness to hold it all.
I'm just saying these are Very, Very, Very good, hard use knives. Also Very, Very, Very hard to find after the have stopped production. So if it aint broke dont fix it, make more!!!
