Good luck finding a receiver, since the Dems have taken office people have been buying up lowers as fast as they can release them. My Dad (has FFL)and a buddy have been trying to put together a couple of ar's but have had no luck getting lowers without having to go to the secondary market and then paying extra. He is currently on a waiting list with DPMS.

Not to scare you off, but be prepared to pay extra or wait.

BTW, a DPMS stripped lower can be had for $105 dealer cost.

I'd suggest picking up a Shotgun News if you have access to a decent bookstore, usually with the periodicals. You can find some pretty good deals on the uppers, I'd suggest Model 1 Sales. Got a good rep and nice selection.
