I've got a 16" upper coming, and I was just going to put it on my full size A2 stock lower - but I'm really thinking about picking up a collapsable stock lower since the Dems are going to try and take them away again, I'm sure!
Why not just replace the A2 fixed stock w/ a collapsible stock?
Personally i've always thought the A2 was a bit too long. Folks who wear vests/armor seem to agree.

I've considered doing this, but was worried about:
-shorter recoil spring in collapsible stock affecting cycling.
-in kalifornia, i'd prolly have to pin it in 1 position to be legal. bastids.
-not sure if they rattle a lot? I was considering Bushmaster 4-position one for ~$80. (:edit: $106.95! err they raised the price)
-then i found Shorty Fixed stocks! <- now considering them.

That's the cool thing about ARs though KnifeParty.. you can customize & build it up to your fancy, change things along the way <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
