Im realy sold on building my own AR. I do have another question tho. I want to build a compact yet light AR. Is there any regulations on how long the barrel and gun have to be??
You can also get an AR15 pistol, but you can’t put a stock on it. If you want a shorty with a stock, ya gotta pay the $200 class III tax for a short barreled rifle. I dunno if you can have that in Cali though.
AR pistols are "assault weapons" in CA.
Pistols with a magazine that does not go through the handle are a no-no.
Rifles can't have a detachable magazine if they have a pistol grip, it's just stupid.
