Food storage in my mind is for an emergency, so maybe a week or two. That said, of course more is better as long as it doesn't make you a target or take too much of your time or space to keep.

As for the 10k rounds, that should be the minimum and for .22LR only. Then you probably should have another 10k of mixed stuff for your other systems if you can wink


10 k for 22 is doable. I want at least 1 k for each other bug out/in platform--9, 45, 223, 12 gauge. Hunting rounds I'll keep 100 or so rounds on hand plus reloading components for 1-2 hundred more. Would like components for 223, 9 and 45, but bullets are hard to come by...
