My wife pulled out a few of her Great Grandfather's knives. They've all been scratched to hell and sharpened so many times that you couldn't even guess at what the blades looked like originally. Every one of them is still in usable condition.
Kinda makes you think. Will one of our great grandchildren be on a camping trip one day in the distant future and baton some firewood with a Regulator that has had a half an inch removed from the blade from decades of sharpening?
