Eric has dealt fairly with me. I didn't have to ship from overseas, but when I broke the tip on my first Hairy Carry, he replaced the knife. I would stick with any company that deals that fairly. Besides, I like Swamp Rats a lot.
+1 on Eric being a stand up guy who will deal with this well...I met him at K.C. and a nicer straighter guy you could'nt meet...also in defense of SR although I only have one....a Ratmandu....this knife has really impressed me.
If it failed on me I would still give a replacement a go....I would just be careful not to be "relying" on this solely until it had earned it's spurs.
