I also agree, it happens but it is rare with Busse/Swamprat/Scrapyard. Stansbrew had a DMCG who's tip broke from clam shucking, we were shocked (there is a thread somewhere) but no one, no company can inspect every atom of every blade all the time, but one of the big reasons why we luv the Busse folks, is the warranty.
