Guys, I gotta be honest, I see nothing wrong with the design of this blade.
Obviously, Dan thought it out, and explained his reasons why he shaped it the way he did (He didn't need to, but it was nice of him to do so), and I honestly am happy with the look and potential feel of the S5 of my hands. If you don't like it, then don't buy it.
Hey, let's not talk crazy, here....
I might have some minor changes I might prefer just from looking at the knife, but that ain't gonna keep me from buying one (or three). Who knows, once I wrap my hand around it I might find Dan is right and the squared choil is good and comfortable. He's certainly got a lot more experience with these sorts of things.
The squared choil certainly does LOOK sexy, and the idea of extra strength definitely helps sway me in favor of this design. All that's left is real-life in-hand comfort... which means I gotta be able to BUY the thing! Two weeks?
