You could try and old sock but I don't think it would work very well. I would suggest contacting one of the sheath makers here and seeing what they could do for you.

Now you're not going to pick one up for 5 or 10 dollars, but they WILL last you for as long as you will be able to use it and they are all good guys to work with.
