I like the DM folder idea. Thing is, making folders requires some precision machining and is very different from making fixed blades. I like my Rat Trap a lot, but even Busse let somebody else make it. Kershaw, Spyderco, Benchmade, and many others are very good at making folding knives. I'll put my Skirmish up against just about any other folder for rugged construction, but it could never match a YK or a HRLM for toughness, and neither could any folder. I just don't know if Busse could be competitive in the folder market unless they contracted it to a manufacturer that specializes in folders.
