One nice and reasonably priced(for a framelock at 200$)framelock is the new Darryl
Ralph Combat Elite. It is a very well designed spearpoint made from 440C which is one of my favourite steels for an EDC although it is not as popular as it once was.

You don't really need a Framelock for a good strong folder. Any of the classic folders are excellent and got that way because they are good. The benchmade 710 with the axis lock or any Spyderco with it's backlock but especially the exta beefy Manix and chinook3 are great choices. I have a 30$ Stainless byrd CrossBill
that has a very good lock. I don't like CRKT but they have a decent locking system as well in the autolawks.

If you are really worried about sheeple you might want to try a bright coloured knife like the pink or orange spydercos or the rainbow leek. It is amazing the difference that the same knife in black and then bright blue makes to sheeple.
