I think it would be a good idea, but only if they made them to be true kitchen knives. While I love my Bird Dog LE, and it does work well in the kitchen as well as outdoors, I would prefer that if the Yard did do a run of "kitchen" that they be even thinner than the BDLE. Full flat grind, supeer thin slicers in 154CM with mudder handles would be good.

For some reason though I have a feeling that knives such as these will never be produced by SYKCO. It just isn't their game. Maybe the military will ask them to do a run of kitchen knives like we are talking about, and we could all have a shot at the left overs...LOL

What I could see them maybe doing some day is coming out with 1 maybe 2 knives as a "kitchen" or "food prep" set around Christmas time as a way for some of us to make a knife peace offering to our wives for putting up with us spending so much money on knives.
