I think most animals are more concerned with movement than colour
I think so too. And maybe smell. I try to sit downwind of where I expect the deer to be, and if possible I try to have the sun at my back too.
I make ground blinds out of fallen timber and chicken wire and leaves, so movement usually isn't too big an issue.
Yes smell is a big one as well as sound. I know colour is a big thing for ducks and geese though. I hear the same about turkeys but I don't know much about them
