Another FAL comment...

I no longer recommend Para models. The rat tail being captive in the top cover is a recipe for disaster. Its just not a durable design, and was clearly an engineering solution "after the fact".

I'm down to my Springfield SAR-48s and SCAR17. If I had to choose one to keep it would be the SCAR unless I knew an apocalypse of Biblical proportions was about to happen...then I'd choose the FAL.
