GD, the FAL as it has proven that 50yrs on it will still be around and working as well as the day it left the factory. Spares are easier to accumulate and just about any knuckle dragger can replace almost any part. You only need to be a little more able to do the rest and have a function (if perhaps not pretty) rife.

And of course your chest is a little more hairy, you voice a little deeper and your gear swings around with just that much more authority when you have a FAL, even moreso if you have the Manliest Man variety...
