Rat F - I submit, you are definitely correct. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> As Evolute pointed out, its not my place to determine what is a legitimate use for anything, and he's totally right.

He and I got in to it in the death chat a little - my problem is that our government has made the laws so restrictive that I can't pack in a lot of places, on the other hand, a lot of those products are designed to be taken to those places where I can't take mine. Gets in to the whole VA Tech thing - and shooting fish in a barrel. Disarming the public, not protecting them, and then marketing products that can easily be snuck in by those w/ bad intentions.

The fix would be to make the laws less restrictive, not to restrict the products. I wouldn't care if the guy sitting next to me on a flight had a honeycomb if I've got my RAT 3 - or if the guy sitting next to me in class has a Walther .22 when I've got my .38. Its when I've got nothing, and they know it, that I'm bothered.
