Some of Cold Steel's advertising is in poor taste and does little to enhance the image of knife owners. Like a lot of advertizing, it is probably aimed at the 18 to 34 male demographic, "Be bad" mall ninjas. That said, I still like most of their products I've had.
Very true, but also true is the fact that some mall ninja toys are fun. If you want another example, look some of the vintage weapons people like. A mace, a pole axe, a halberd. WTH am I going to do with a poll axe or a halberd? It doesn't matter, I think they're cool and I want one. So what?
