There's always bulletins going to LEO agencies about disguised guns and knives, cuff keys integrated in to rings, and all of that - which are a huge threat to officer safety - but many of which are "legal."
I'd hate to be the new guy at the airport that let a "honeycomb" slip through security, not knowing what it was, and then having something bad happen as a result.
My freedom is more important than officer safety. Bottom line. It is an inherently dangerous jib that requires specialized and ongoing training. Police officers are trained to deal with actual and potential threats.
