I think most of the whingeing about the business practices can be chalked to frustration. who hasn't felt disappointment due to the knife they wanted being unavailable for some reason? I found out about Busse knives later than many, and I know there are literally tons of INFI out there that I'll never own. it does make one a bit misty. not that I'm saying anyone has license to complain, just that the tendency is understandable.

for all the complainers, it isn't easy, but be patient. sock away a little rainy day money until you can buy something nice secondhand, or there's a new release you fall in love with. my yard hook was initially intended to be a blade to hang on to for a while then flip for a SR mini mojo after it appreciated, but now there's no way in hell I'm letting it go. who knows, maybe you'll find out that something unexpected is what you wanted all along.
