Instead of whining about the Busse family business model, I applaud it - loudly. When other knifemakers are outsourcing production overseas, have terrible quality issues, or facing bankruptcy we have a small American company that is pushing their factory to 100% production capacity and thriving. This one small Busse family factory is delivering us an amazing choice of knives at many different price points, literally something for everyone. And all of their products are MADE IN THE USA.

If you don't like how the knives are sold, don't buy them. It's really that simple. As Rat said they are available, and often at very small markups over the original prices if you take the time to shop for them.

This is not Burger King. Deal with it.
