Hey Vic, I'm blaming you for the complete destruction of one of my favorite well worn 15 micron silicon carbide belts today. I decided to give the "edge into the belt" grinding method a try on a DMDC that needed a little work and everything was going good on the 20 micron belt, then I switched her over to my favortie 15 and convinced myself I was an "edge in" pro after 4 minutes of grinding and "WHAP!!", bye bye belt! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" />
Actually it's ordawg1's fault, he called me while I was grinding and the ringer made me flinch.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />. At least that's my story.
I actuallt got the hang of it after that little incident pretty quick and I think I like the edge leading method.
