Any plans for a larger survival-oriented knife ala scrapper 6 or SOD in the near future?

I am a field geologist who often works alone in remote areas...jungles of south america, boreal forests of northern canada, etc. Your current offering looks like a wonderful sportsman's knife, but I was hoping for more blade. Some jurisdictions do not permit me to carry a firearm in the field, or it is too much of a hassle doing all that customs stuff.

A bit more blade gives me reach for large snakes. I carry a belt knife to cut one off of me if it drops from a tree. Big blade with chopping and peircing power gives me a feeling of security in bear country as well. I have never been attacked, but have surprised countless black bears and they run off. I'm hoping that this trend continues and I don't bump into any grizzlies either !
