Well wasn't that in direct response to people shouting "I want it to chop better?"
I can't faul the guy for responding in a positive factor to criticism on the test models -- it seems like he mostly addressed the majority concerns. Really though if I want to chop something I'm going to reach for the chopper.
However that being said, like I said I don't fault people for passing on the knife -- it's not like they're offending me or something, it's their money and some knives just don't appeal to some people. That's all. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
I also do not disagree with the idea of having a knife that can "do it all" but to me you can get a knife that's AMAZING at 1-2 things, or OKAY at everything. The right tool / weapon is the one for the situation, but that being said I can understand how people would want a knife that could "fit every situation."
